Well good day to you lovely reader! I sure do hope you are enjoying some life affirming springtime vibes in your world. Today I felt drawn to writing about the New Age Movement. It is trending, trendy and smoking hot right now. So many individuals are being gifted the time for some self exploration and some are even deciding to use it for their own personal growth! Whoa dude!
I count myself in the crowd although I have been walking this path for many years now and have been watching the paths of others for quite some time on this spiritual and somewhat at times intangible path of spirituality and strengthening ones divine connection to source. God.
I have no advice to offer but I do have a tidbit that my heart and soul have found to be of tremendous value on my path. That is the simple and plain truth that all is truly sourced back to Heavenly Father. I wont go into all the labels and names given to this infinitely powerful and loving glue of the universe but I will say that by many names the same essence is defined.
In my experience there is nothing to be feared upon a path of self exploration unless you are afraid of facing the truth that is held within. We can cover these traits we are told are less desirable and adapt our personalities in an infinite layering of masks to suit the company of whomever we may find ourselves surrounded by or we may choose to find something more lasting. Something more real. Something more rich.
Do you feel better when you are trying to impress someone? When you are judging yourself and at times may feel not good enough? Or do you feel better when you are celebrating your very unique and deserved personality and place upon this earth?
This world can be so full at times of the wealth of a billion judgements. Serving the purpose of leaving us feeling as though “if only” then we could finally at long last be, be enough, be loved, be supported and on and on. Leaving us at times seeking through the foggy vision of our own salt water seeking approval as though simply because it is night the sun will never rise again.
Please stop that. Please try to realize that today you are a gift to this world. Please try to handle your heart, soul, mind and body with the gentleness you would offer a small child. Because somewhere inside of each and every single one of us is just that. A small child we turned our backs upon in order to survive. In order to not have our hopes entirely crushed and in order to forget sometimes.
This inner child isn’t a “brat” it is nothing of any of the things you may have heard when you were young and seeking comfort and perhaps found thorns instead. It was normal to flinch your hand away from the sting of that thorn upon such a beauty of living. That doesn’t mean one should never touch a rose again. Rather it provides the opportunity to learn how to properly hold a rose so as to appreciate its gifts, sweet fragrance, silky petals and a stunning palette of rich colors to helping our hearts to see beauty through our vision.
We each deserve to integrate our inner child with our living dreams. To assist us in the remembrance of joy. Of childlike innocent free and full of light Joy. We each of us deserve to realize that this is not simply a gift of youth and that it is inevitable that this sweet experience be fleeting.
One does not “grow up” by closing ones heart. In fact the very opposite happens. From my personal witness when one chooses to settle on closing ones heart and thusly allowing only the concept of a potential dream of joy or peace or even love for that matter they essentially force themselves into an underdeveloped mindset. It shuts off the avenue for personal growth and allows the replacement of this ideal with the many plentiful distractions available in living this life. Great food. Great vistas. Great friends. Cooooooool stuuffffffff, or the darker side also, Drugs, Greed, Money, Lust.
Hence free will, we are truly given a choice. We realize this on a soul level and it also contributes to the pain we can take upon ourselves due to the actions of others. When we come to realize what it truly means to wish harm upon another in any way, we realize so much. This isn’t to say we wont be tempted to sass at times but what it does mean is that when you have truly reached this level of personal awareness you do not want to cause harm to others because you truly realize you are doing it to yourself.
