I was pondering this concept as I was hiking yesterday. The steady crunch of my footsteps upon the pebble pathway were a soundtrack to my walking meditation and my hearts call. More steady then my heartbeat were those crunch, crunch, crunch sounds left behind by my feet. No cell service meant true silence for my system. No steady dull electronic hum in the background of my thoughts, just a simply still silence as I engaged in steady and healing movement.
What are some of the things that you turn to that can provide an essential system restore? Do you have the ability to realize that if you follow your intuition and guidance and allow yourself to move forward despite what can at times feel like a crushing burden against movement, that a healing can transpire. Those moments when if we succumb to the burden of our minds we prevent the blessing of healing or even a temporary relief from the swirling thoughts in our minds.
It is also very worthy of note at this time to note that if you are an empath on any level then you are likely picking up the emotional burden of those around you. In addition to any emotions you may yourself be working through. If you are a strong empath, then you can find yourself influenced by these emotions without fully realizing that they are not even truly yours until you look closer at precisely why you feel the way you do, and can truly discern no viable source for an unpleasant emotion that may be present. Empaths tend to pick up these emotions quite easily and without a full understanding of the true nature and origins of these influences, we can quickly become squished under them piling on top of our hearts.
I have never met an empath who doesn’t hold an intense and not only a desire but who actually takes action to help those around them beyond talking and in helpful and healthy ways that take into consideration the person whom they are helping. A false empath (really simply an underdeveloped empath) will still try to help only will do so in manners that suit their own purpose as opposed to taking into consideration the person whom they are helping and precisely what is needed at the root of the issue.
The underdeveloped empath will recognize the emotion and its impact upon them personally, but will not have the ability at all times to realize the emotions are external on a deep level and so will take the emotions on personally which is then used as the motivation for the actions taken to assist but which are taken from the singular perspective of the underdeveloped empath. This approach tends to result in pain and a diversion of the healing.
You can say that without the filter of diplomacy and it sounds like this. A narcissist will sense suffering and will want to help so that they don’t have to endure the unpleasantry of having to feel the irritating emotion or they will help in order to secure something that they want or they may believe the action of assistance will lead to this and if it doesn’t then there is a price to be paid for it indeed.
While that type of experience can be painful for the one who once had a glimmer of light that hope was indeed being offered, it is but another step upon the path of our personal development. The path that leads us back to our own deep and personal understanding that we are the source of all we need.
What I mean by that isn’t an ego trip which was a reason why I had such difficulty recognizing the truth in that statement for so long. It isn’t to say that we are the best or we are God or we are the supreme authority of anything other then our own minds and you surely must know what I could say about that and some folks. I must admit, I did have a silent chuckle while I typed that for I had a few faces pop into my mind.
As much as I earlier in my life rebelled against that principle with my main argument being “If we are all God……… We’re absolutely and completely f@#$%@! Have you looked around lately at the state of the world?” What is truly intended with that type of statement, I’ve come to find is more in alignment with the following type of action. We may pray to Heavenly Father for comfort for instance but without our choice to make the prayer, we cannot allow the blessing to unfold. A thought without emotion or action is simply another layer of binding for our lives. Another layer of theoretical illusion and potential despair. But if we choose to say make a prayer and to do this from our hearts with purity of intention then we can literally feel the results instantly.
We can feel the weights literally lifted off of our shoulders and we can remember…..
Love
The true source of all power worth holding or having let alone even attempting to perceive is Love. That is the true source of divinity and all creation. Even the darkest of the dark was born from love, yet forgot somewhere along the journey that very simple fact.
Yep there she goes again that hippy dippy love child harping on about love.. I know right! hehe LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
If you don’t have any you can still give it. It can heal a heart. Make a miracle happen before your very eyes. Lift a spirit. Heal a life. Make a dream come true. It often costs no money. It is free in essence and true nature. Love is in fact and my opinion the only true essence of freedom on this earth. Many fear it while they covet it in the depths of their deepest dreams. No worldly distraction will ever take away its deep calling for long.
And so so so much more..
Oh and it doesn’t grow in value when it is hoarded.. Nope not at all.. It only grows if it is shared. At least that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
