Have you ever sat and pondered upon the concept of courage? Can you recall moments in your life when you have held such a precious and potent frequency? Do you rely on many forms of courage or is your version a singularly fixed representation?
I have found myself enshrined in the precious embrace of the courage that I hold at more then one junction of my life and living. It is a very interesting connection that can be drawn between spirituality and spiritual development and the necessary trait of Courage which works best alongside its buddies of Faith, Honesty and Integrity.
When these traits link and join together in the power of the truth with which they are held one can feel a certain protection. More then once in this living have I been faced with someone who is functioning on a lower level. This can manifest its physical circumstance in many varying and creative manners.
It is worthy of note to state that while it is true that our lives reflect our internal perspectives it is equally worthy of note to understand that we can at times trap ourselves into loops of thinking that we are in full truthfulness undeserving of. We may feel alone and isolated at times but only if we allow our minds to embrace the essence of that thought for instance.
We will find what we seek and we must have the courage to allow ourselves to in complete honesty and the brightest of faiths seek what we truly deserve as opposed to what others may have tried in vain attempt to make us believe we are “deserving” of.
When we allow ourselves to process the emotions that are placed before us often by the chosen actions of those surrounding us, then we allow ourselves a greater understanding and once we have that to a memorable degree, then we find we are able to not only comprehend but also to empathize with the perspectives of others. It no longer matters because once we arrive at that place we can feel the security that our courage provides us.
We may come from that place and we may then know that the source of truth is from within and that no matter what may be presented externally that it will never manage to corrupt the power held within the legitimate truth held within our hearts and that carries the songs of the universe upon its shoulders.
Physical courage will get us over the mountain but only after we have managed to build the Mental courage to believe we could attempt such a task for instance. While Intellectual courage may afford us to safely prepare for most potentials ending in the most advantageous manner to fit the situation.
Our Social courage can bless us with the power to aspire to dream even the potential of the climb, in the face of the potential beliefs others may hold that even the thought of such a thing is foolish. This strings us right along to what our Moral courage will do for us and how it allows us the sweetest of sleeps, true peaceful rest lacking a crushing burden of the at times justifiably self imposed guilt we may carry if we choose to not act with the moral courage and fiber we each eventually and inevitably aspire towards. Some folks just try in vain to twist morality along the journey to suit their own personal motivations because they have not learnt that is a frail, weak and inevitably fleeting approach, yet.
Lastly we may realize a deeper level of our own Spiritual courage as we sit atop the summit that our faith, dedicated effort, commitment, sweat and at many junctions potentially our tears got us to. Gazing now lovingly as opposed to the at times intimidated and conflicted gaze we held at times upon the path that we took to arrive with salt stinging our eyes as we pushed one foot in front of the other simply to do it. Propelled forward and upwards by the unseen pull of the search for something that actually matters. Something lasting. Something pure. Something blessed. Some love.
Eternally holding hope that the next summit isn’t a false one we have to pick up our feet forward from once again. We realize that only we had the power within ourselves to push to the summit. No other foot could step the path to arrive at the summit. No other breath in no other lungs could provide you the oxygen your body requires to fuel its movement. Talk, is then known for its true value in moments such as that.
I love you all.
