Give me all you got. Give me all you got.. The lyrics float on invisible waves of beautiful sound as I begin to type this day. The sun has set and the day is embracing the cool stillness of the evening. The group singing these divine lyrics is Nahko And Medicine For The People.. I love the ending of this song like a little window to a sacred moment of shared tenderness. Some songs are simply divinely inspired. They words they carry bring us messages at times when we most need to hear them. Little messengers of light sent to remind us and soothe us also at times.
Do you find this to be the case as well? Are there moments when you turn on the radio or happen to hear a few lyrics in passing that make you suddenly aware that their is indeed more to this life and living. That there is indeed a Divinity at the core of all life and living and make you reflect upon the truth that there is indeed a greater plan.
Perhaps for some these moments bring a sorrow as we remember moments of tenderness or lack and that sweet reflection brings us powerful reprieve from the reflection we can all possibly find ourselves witnessing as we are inevitably human in our living.
Music can still a soul in turmoil or it can save a memory, forever enshrining it in the dance of notes upon our senses as if like a gentle breeze or at times even an untamed and unchallenged tempest. Yet the beauty is in the existence of it all. The graceful stillness and also the energetic tempest. We can find our own power and access the Divine once we allow ourselves the witness of these moments of truth with just that simplicity. Witness.
For we are that which we seek and at times wish with all of our hearts and souls to be reflected back upon us. We are that love. We are that acceptance. We are that security. This isn’t to deny the moments that may cross our paths of emotions so great they seem to threaten to overwhelm our senses. But rather that once we realize this wholly we can then choose to truly allow the truth of this to blossom within our lives. That when we do this we become so much more aware of the energies and influences that surround us at all times and also of the impermanence of the fleeting world.
Time is fluid. It isn’t a concept one can easily force into stagnation, as any attempt to do so will inevitably end poorly. The memories we recycle can lose the pure power of their essence if we attempt to halt them within the bounds of our minds instead of allowing them the freedom of passage. The pure potent power of their recall drifting upon the winds of time like a gentle breeze. The strength is in their witness also.
Life is such a graceful and at times provocative dance. One we can embrace with grace and flow or one that we can choose to attempt to influence and control which always inevitably results in a halted and unnatural state. So much more beauty is there to be found within the graceful flow.
Music comforts my soul and I love and appreciate most of it. From spicy latin beats I am grateful most of the time I don’t understand the lyrics to the soulful singularity of keys pressed upon a piano gentle then loud, soft the harder. The notes reflect our lives at times and for this blessing I am eternally grateful.
This is also a reason I use sound healing as one of the modalities that I offer in my service to humanity. I find that the vibration of certain frequencies can remove a barrier that we can at times place over our ability to access, remember or reveal the Divine. This reminds me of the words a choir of angels as to me the human voice can capture the full range of potential also. From the Divinely soothing tone of what one could imagine as coming from an angel to the abrasive tonality of a voice used in defense or attack. Our voices like our souls and our everything eventually reveal the truest of our natures and I pray that mine remain soft and carry the potential to soothe a soul in need of this aspect.
As a mother I often use this as a tool. I am always aware of what my voice is doing and for any of you readers that have boys that seemingly “cannot” or “don’t” hear you then try this little gem. Lower your voice an octave or two and watch as they all of a sudden respond. It’s truly hilarious. Give it a shot! Your welcome. I have learned an incredible amount from being a mother. I have grown in my ability to heal wounds and hearts. I have witnessed Divine beauty at many turns and been the grateful receiver of such a love it has taught me that the true essence of this energy is truly eternal in nature and Divine in source.
That’s all I have for you today my dear readers and sweet souls. Never forget that you are loved and not alone. Though you may have lost much you are always surrounded with love. Open your heart to allow it to feel this again if you have become burdened with the corruption these days and times can place before us. I love you dear soul. Unconditionally and eternally I love you all. You are so precious upon this earth.
