How are you today dear reader? How are you really? Do you feel burdened by pressures? This season can feel at times like a series of tests. Each day blessed with the remembrance of childlike joy and the inspiration of that which we witness in the eyes of the children that cross our paths. Whether we are their care takers or simply get to witness these little bundles of joyfully sweet innocence in passing as we go about our day. Yet also for some of us it can carry a burden, can it not? The burden of this concept of not enough. This fear and at times inexpressible yet if we allow it perceptibly infinite fount of struggle and strife.
Yet there is good news and hope yet to be found. This hope is found within the peace that we each carry within our own bodies, hearts, minds and souls. For there surely is peace to be found there and it is within this peace that we find the power to move ahead. Within this awareness of the presence the infinite Divine power of the present moment can be experienced. This allows us the realization that most of the troubles and problems that we may face or be presented with are not in point of fact true problems but rather passing opportunities to engage in greater awareness and practice the principles that we have learned along this path of our living. This isn’t to say that problems do not exist because most surely they do. Rather it is to say that what we may define as a problem could in actuality be nothing more then potentially a fleeting inconvenience.
If we can simply pause in the purity of that moment, we may come to realize that any problem or issue that may present to us this now is most accurately and effectively handled with the simplest of approaches. That we may only do the best that we can do and that is all that anyone can ever do. Not only is it all that anyone can ever do but that once we have done this that it is always in our best interest to simply leave the issue behind. To release it from our thoughts and allow the purity of the present moment to once again filter throughout our experience.
For it is when we do not do this that we can become trapped in the cycle of our thoughts. Our worries and the perceptions of the burdens we may carry and the things that we may at that moment be perceiving as the problems within our lives. It is at this moment that we lose the access to that most precious and powerful inner peace and choose to replace it with the illusion of anything less then this. We can attempt to allow this choice by the listening to the voice of our ego which may tell us all the ways in which we are justified to not let “it” whatever “it” may be go. Whether that be how correct we perceive ourselves or how unjust we may feel the chosen actions of another to be. How cruel. How detached. How wrong or whatever else your ego may want to present as a distraction for your thoughts to wrap themselves in the suffering of its cyclical nature. The very cycling that removes us from the awareness of this present moment.
I’ve had my own cycling today and chosen more then once to follow my own advice and that dear souls is partly why this post has taken me so long to complete from the time I began its writing. So on that note as I do not practice what I preach I simply offer a perspective on some of the things and techniques that help me through some of the things that life presents to me as I walk upon this path of my own lived experience.
I love you all unconditionally dear souls! May your days be blessed and peaceful and may your hearts be your guide. May peace drift sweetly upon your soul this day and all days. That’s all for now!
